Walk in the Bark   owner, Aisling Doyle (pronounced “Ashling”), has been working in the dog care business since 2003. Aisling moved to Portland in the Fall of 2003 after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill. Intent on utilizing her degree toward a life of social work, her career took an unexpected turn and went to the dogs. In 2004, Aisling took what was intended to be a short term job at a dog daycare where she discovered she had a knack and a passion for working with dogs. Quite unexpectedly, she had found her calling. In late 2007 Walk in the Bark was created and life couldn't be better!

When she's not walking dogs, Aisling can be found spoiling, Hunter, her lively Boston Terrier, spending time with her boyfriend, testing out new dessert recipes and attempting to be crafty with her knitting needles.
